Promotion Lab Enhanced
Promotion Lab Enhanced (PLE) will give customers the opportunity to test up-price promotion mechanisms and non-price promotion mechanisms to understand the volume uplift of claims (e.g.: #1 soft drink in the US) compared to direct price promotions. Users have the opportunity to test different promotional mechanisms, products, and channels to identify the best offerings for the customer and determine which choices are the most popular.

What is a PLE study?
Understand how consumers respond to price and non-price promotions to accurately predict the optimal promotional strategy to maximize profit, volume, or sales. Promotion Lab study is based on two scientific methodology A/B testing and Choice-based Conjoint. Consumers will be faced with a shelf of up to 6 products with price and non-price promotions and ask to choose a product.

PLE will enable customers to compare promotion effectiveness across all products tested and identify the optimal Volume, Revenue, and Margin Uplifts across different segments as well as compare Revenue Uplift with Rational Price. Customers will also be able to understand volume uplift and the most appealing / selected non-price promotion helping decide on the best promotional strategy (Price vs Non-Price).
